I'm an ML engineer with 8 years of experience, currently doing independent research in Göttingen, Germany. Right now I'm porting Cosmos-Predict2.5 to vLLM, profiling distributed training on H100s, and building clarifyit.ai.
Before this, I led an AI team at Eka.care, where we built AI products serving 1M+ daily active users. I care most about the gap between what a model can do and what a user actually needs. At Eka, I sat in clinics, watched doctors work through 100 patients a day in 3-minute windows, and built products around those constraints — a Speech LLM for medical transcription, a retrieval system for treatment protocols, and an agentic platform that Apollo Hospitals adopted.
I've also worked on search ranking at Udaan, and published research on VAEs at NCBS-TIFR. I write here about what I learn along the way.
